I want to do a foundation year at Oxford. I fit all the requirements. What’s the chance I’ll be taken in?

I did not make it up. Yes it is 12 places, but 4 each for the 3 different degrees.

It’s a very low chance, if you want to know more look on the 2024 & 2025 threads. You’d have greater chance if you had the grades for undergrad but also think if you reasonably qualify.

If you have grades for undergrad won’t they just reject you as you’re able to apply for undergrad when the foundation year is meant for people who didn’t reach it?

Information about the Foundation Scheme is readily obtainable on the university's website.

Wow...56 applicants per place?! 😧 Almost like applying to the Chambers and especially the American Law firms with offices here in London, UK. ☹️

None of that need bother you, as you won't ever be applying to Oxford or to any chambers or law firms.

You're wrong!!! ☹️ I will be applying to Blackstone Chambers, Brick Court Chambers, Essex Court Chambers, Fountain Court Chambers, One Essex Court Chambers and many more. As well as Slaughter & May, Clifford Chance, Freshfields, Linklaters and AO Sherman and many other solicitor firms.

You're just not aware of the full facts about me and so can't judge me. Because I will be applying for undergraduate Law at St. John's College, Oxford and postgraduate at Wadham College, Oxford, inevitably so. 😉
