Oxford Foundation Year

When you're retired, I will be pursuing postgraduate degrees at Wadham College, Oxford and then you can see a new building constructed in 25 to 30 years. Because once I've started dozens of companies all over the world, especially USA, China and the Middle East, I could become a billionaire, especially if they float on the NASDAQ, NYSE or LSE exchanges. But ultimately, I would return to becoming a barrister/judge until I die. 🙂

I did not make it up. Yes it is 12 places, but 4 each for the 3 different degrees.

Not fully correct, there are 12 places for CEMS but are split like this: "It's up to 6 chemistry, up to 4 engineering and up to 2 materials science. Exact numbers given offers vary year on year." This is from Oxford themselves

For those wishing to pursue the humanities or social sciences, may I cheekily suggest the Cambridge Foundation Year which has a 15% offer rate 😉

I have no plans to retire. Your fantasies are entertaining, but the serious point is that you are wasting your life on hopeless dreams. Snap out of it and stop drifting. .

Here you are in 2021 talking about doing some A levels. Over four years later, how many A levels have you obtained? None. You are stuck in a rut. You could get out of it. Getting a job and moving out of your dad's house would be a start. You'll be forty soon.

I already applied for McDonalds, Tesco and Sainsburys and they all said I should get some A-Levels. So, I don't care what you think. You are not a Judge or KC.

Very good advice from Tesco et al. Why not take some A levels?

I have downloaded every past paper from various friends and cousins and now have every past paper with mark scheme and examiner reports for Maths and Further Maths and there are also eBooks and 10 YouTube channels. So, I am set for A*A* and for French and Spanish I have every published paper from January 2003 to June 2023 with Audio listening files. So, I could also achieve A* in French and A* in Spanish. All in all, A*A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths, French and Spanish is possible with a minimum of A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, French and Spanish. So, I will be sitting A-Level Maths in June 2026 and A-Level Further Maths, French and Spanish in June 2027. Then, I will be attending Open Days at Oxford in Summer 2027 too and making an application by also sitting the LNAT test. 🙂

I just did not believe how much insane competition there is for Tesco, Sainsburys and McDonalds jobs. But the worst thing is the job consultancy advisors send 100s of candidates for 5 positions and those who have the most experience get the job. But at interviews, they said I spoke well and had good business acumen and was graduate 'calibre' so they did not want to hire me, unfortunately. ☹️ Instead, they told me to pursue A-Levels.

PS: There are around 75 or so M1 and S1 Past Papers (they never changed it for International A-Levels) from January 2001 to Janaury 2025 and many more from June 2018 to June 2024, so once I have been through them I could achieve 95% to 100% in some papers. lol 😀
