What was your interview score? if you’re closer to the threshold there’s a high chance you’ll get an offer. Some people are not accepting their offers

Do they add everyone to the reserve list who don't meet the cut off or just the close ones. My scores are close to the threshold

The closer ones are the ones on the wait list. What was your score if you don’t mind me asking

I was 8 marks off the threshold. Also, do you know anyone that is on waiting list

I have a friend on the reserve list and it is her first choice. She was advised to send an email to the admissions team to reaffirm her interest and express that she is still very much interested. If you haven’t done that I would suggest that you do as well there’s no harm in trying. Also it could put you ahead of others when it comes to offering places. Don’t give up hope❤️

Yes she is on the Plymouth list. It’s just a waiting game from now you’ve done everything you could. I have seen some people not affirming their offers so that’s good it means spots are opening up

Honestly, most people are declining plymouth med school for other med schools so you might get off the waiting list and get a chance

People who have it as their insurance are most likely to lose their place because it’s not their first choice. So yeah they’re basically giving up their spots. They have until late April to give out their final decision

Honestly try assuring them that’s it’s your first choice so you may be able to move up the list when they start sending out offers again. Tell them you’ll gladly take it if they offer it to you. They prioritise people who make Plymouth their firm choice. Your response is good but it could definitely be better.

Good Afternoon,

I applied to Medicine with foundation year this year, but I have been put on the reserve list.

I was only moved to the United Kingdom in 2020. I worked so hard to be in this position. I am very keen to study medicine at Plymouth because of its EBL Learning method and its diversity. If I get offered a place at Plymouth, It would be my firm choice.
