BTEC or T level

I study a level 2 course currently as a transition course. We are given 2 options from T level in Digital Design Production & Development and BTEC extended national diploma in IT & Computing. I also don't know the difference in work placements. I don't also know about the application for university or jobs/apprenticeships after both courses. Is anyone of the two better?

A BTEC Extended Diploma (which is the same "size" as three A levels) is more widely accepted by universities than T levels.

However, from what you've written above, the subjects for each qualification would be different. So which of thise subjects are you more interested in?

OK, then the BTEC Extended Diploma is a better fit there too.

Note that many of the "better" universities require A level Mathematics for entry to their Computer Science degrees - even if you have a BTEC Extended Diploma "worth" three A levels. Had you got as far as thinking where you might like to study your degree, or is that just too far in the distance right now?
