Holiday before gcses

Im a year 11 student and my GCSES begin on May 3rd, My school has organised a trip abroad to Morocco From the 10th to the 15th of April (just before my exams). I really want to go but i fear that if i were to go it would negatively impact my GCSES I'm currently a grade 7 student aiming for 9s and have just started my revision. To anyone who has been in a similar situation or has some insight please advise!!

Whoever decided that a good time for a 5-day international school trip was a matter of weeks before GCSEs should be fired. It's almost as if they're trying to intentionally sabotage their students.
Unfortunately, I think that your "fear that if i were to go it would negatively impact my GCSES" is a valid concern.

Hiya, I say DEFINITELY go. It's helpful to get your mind off your exams when they're so close. It's only 5 days as well; I spent most of my Easter holidays faffing about anyways. I only started revising around about April and got mostly 9s. GCSEs aren't as stressful as you may think, enjoy yourself before A levels.........

In 10 years time would you look back and remember those 5 days revising or would you remember them for the holiday?
