Help with evidence

Just adding on, I’ve put myself as being a UK national, though I’m not sure if I was supposed to?
I was born here, have an EU passport, have settled status, and I’m currently applying for a British passport.
Does this mean I’m eligible for a UK passport therefore being a UK national, or do I put myself as a non-UK national?

Yes, that is correct.

Thanks, you're fine to upload your UK birth certificate in this case. Normally, when you have this we'll class you as a UK national, so this is the only evidence we need right now.
