so i dont know what to do i had ordered diferent vibraters and i told my dad that i had a package coming in for his "BIrthday" and when it got here he opened it and descovered what i actually bought now im grounded to the house for 3 weeks
i think he need to stay put of my stuff and give me privacy

Oh dear... I bet that was embarrassing

Still, I know how you feel (well, to an extent). I'm a guy, but my mum caught me downloading some (naughty videos)... proper cringe moment lol.

Next time, see if you can get it delivered to a safe address. Some small shops will receive and hold parcels / deliveries for you, or use one of those Amazon type pick-up/ collection points you see everywhere.

I think your error here was telling your father the package was for him. Whilst you probably thought he would not open it as it was a gift for him (and thus he would be spoiling the surprise if he did so), he obviously felt that there was no invasion of privacy as you told him it was for him. I don't necessarily think that he overstepped a boundary, but this might be a good time to broach the topic of boundaries with him. Assuming your age from your username (and feel free to correct if I'm wrong), you will need more privacy and a safe space to grow as an individual in the coming years. I don't think he could argue with that as it's not dissimilar to the space that teenage boys require at the same age. If you can handle the topic maturely I hope that he will understand.

The suggestion by user Old Skool Freak about having such packages delivered in future to a local store or dropbox is a good idea if you will be ordering similar items in future.
