absences query

im currently in year 11, and my school has a limit of 11 unauthorised absences, after which you may be asked to repeat the year. would they actually follow through with this?

How can anyone who is not part of your school management/administration answer that?

In different schools perhaps, but that wouldn't be relevant to your case.

idk how it is at your school but I missed a lot of school in year 9-11 and the school set up a meeting with my parents to explain the absences and see if they could do anything to help, so you probably won't be immediately forced to repeat the year especially if you have a reason for missing school.
