Nottingham undergrad accommodation

Hey! I’m trying to look over the accommodation for Nottingham right now and literally have no clue what to pick.

Would really appreciate if anyone has any insight into the different halls as i don’t know anyone who’s been before. Find it super weird that a lot are catered but i supposed that’s just what it is, as-long as the food isn’t horrible lol! I’m currently looking at: Florence Boot, Cripps, Derby & Dagfa. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

No it’s not open yet, i believe it’s the 1st of April. You can look at the accommodation here though https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/student-living/options/index.aspx

Hi, consider living off-campus? Nova, Deakins Place, Morriss House, iQ Newland House are all about a 15-min commute from Nottingham Uni. Purpose-built for students, bills-included, furnished rooms, gyms, outdoor patios, game rooms, etc. Everything is very convenient. Only students live here, so it's affordable and safe

I'm considering Deakins and Dagfa. Would you recommend one over the other, or would you say they have similar pros/cons? Thanks

Personally, I would definitely NOT stay off campus in first year! It would be a very big mistake, yet that this ONLY my opinion and I am guessing that you have already chosen by now; since this was posted three whole months ago.

What did you go for in the end and how did you make the choice? Are you happy with it? I’m a similar situation. Want catered but don’t know what the vibe is like in each hall.
