MSc Psychology (Conversion) - Arden University - April 2025 Intake

Hi everyone!

I am not sure if there is already a relevant discussion page for this, but I just wanted to hop on and see if there is anyone else out there starting the Psychology conversion with Arden, starting in April? I accepted my offer today and I am a little nervous but very excited to start. Would be nice to chat to anyone else also doing this course!

Hello

I did the MSc Psychology (conversion) at Arden and I had a really great time. I had done post graduate study before so I knew what expectations were in terms of academic work which helped.

As soon as you start, get familiar with the virtual learning environment as it is the best I have come across (I have worked in F.E/H.E for over 10 years) - the access to journals in-particular is great.

I would check out a book by Coolican called 'Statistics and Research Methods in Psychology' it is really useful.

The research methods unit, if it is still the first unit, is a deep dive for a first one, but soldier on and you'll do great
