Hi, apologies in advance for the long message. My mum struggles to read English, so I handle her email accounts and all applications for her etc. Both me and my sister have SFE. Earlier this year, the payments for maintenance would show up as blank, and not say anything. I received the first 2 payments fine, but now that I log on, it says ‘You do not have any payments scheduled for academic year 2025’. I’m quite confused as I’m pretty sure we have one more payment left for this year (24/25), and my circumstances haven’t changed. In addition, when reapplying for student finance this year, they asked my mum for financial information to support my application. But when they sent an email about my sister’s application, they said ‘We already have your financial information. We will use the infomation you gave us in an earlier application for this academic year to process —‘s application.“ does this mean they used the information I entered for my application is being used for hers too?

Hi there, no it’s no longer there. However, first of all for some reason there are 2 applications for 2024. One is blank and just says ‘2024’, whilst the other says 2024 with my uni name and degree and ‘application approved’. Both applications now allow me to view payments, but for the academic year 2025/2026. It’s worth mentioning that I reapplied for SFE yesterday, and completed my mother’s financial information (which was the email you sent to her). However there is a separate application on my account for 2025/26, which is why I’m confused why the payments for that academic year are showing up on the 2024 application. This application still says processing as I just submitted the financial information yesterday and just waiting now. I haven’t been able to see the payments for the 2024/25 year this entire year, even though I’ve already received the last 2 payments as normal. The blank 2024 application only recently showed up, and neither of them had any payment dates for 2024, but on the second one’s status checklist, ‘confirming all details’ and ‘receive payments’ were still unchecked despite having already received the payment months ago, it’s been like this for months. When I’d press ‘view payments’ it would show up as blank. Sorry for the long message, but I just wanted to ask how can I see the payment date for the next SFE payment (April 2025), for this current academic year, as I’m still confused on why I can’t see any payments for this year but instead I’m seeing the next year’s payments.
