Universities for Medicine UK

Hi there! Which universities are good ones for Medicine? I am going to work hard, also being dedicated... I aspire to become a General Surgeon, which I know requires a lot of dedication and hard-working.

Under your experiences, which one are the good ones for Medicine? I was looking at University of Cambridge, Imperial London, University New Castle...

At A-level I need to achieve A*AA / A*A*A*. I will do physics, chem and biology. What do you recommend? I saw people saying that it's really difficult, blablabla... Are this true? I mean, I know it is hard, but you need to be dedicated and hard-working, right?

Medicine is one of the rare cases where it doesn't really matter where you go to study it in the UK, they all make you certified with the GMC, and are all very competitive to get into.
Physics, chem, and maths works well. As long as you have Biology and Chemistry, the third one doesn't really matter, I would recommend picking something you're quite interested in and think you can easily get an A/A* in.
It is difficult to balance a-levels with the ucat and interviews but it's all very doable.
