Stirling or Glasgow to study Primary teaching education. . Unconditionals for both.

Stirling or Glasgow to study Primary teaching education. . Unconditionals for Glasgow, Stirling, Strathclyde and Queen Margaret but I have narrowed down to Stirlind and Glasgow. Any advice if you know people there or you are there doing this course? Thanks

Hi @RMFC

I do not have any experience with those universities, however some things you might want to consider when making your decision are:

What facilities does each university have?

What placement opportunities are there?

What teaching styles do they use and how big are the groups?

What is the university like in general - e.g., study spaces, accomodation, nearby places.

Hope that helps!

Congratulations on your offers. Do you want to be in large city or like the Campus feel? Stirling is beautiful and relaxed, friendly feel. Have you attended open days or going to offer holder days?

Do you mind telling me what grades you obtained in S5 and did you have entry requirements for Strathclyde?

Glasgow is better regarded by private schools and has the Masters option. I’ve heard there’s more sctuteaxhing experience than Stirling too
