Pregnancy in a degree apprenticeship

Looking for my options as a pregnant woman in a degree apprenticeship.

Can I stop work during my maternity leave while still continuing my studies? Or can I transfer my degree apprenticeship into a normal undergraduate course to minimise the workload after giving birth?

I don't want my apprenticeship to be delayed or take a 'year out' as 4 years is already a long time and with a baby on the way I don't want to be busy for too much longer than that.

Surely you can take a year out of studies but still work at the company during that time. You’ll need to speak to your HR to see what they offer. I’m sure maternity leave will be included in your contract
