Student finance independent student?

Just querying, I am looking to apply for student finance and maintenance as a student who is estranged from their parents due to no contact for 12 months, i am not sure what I would use regarding proof of this as I don’t have a doctors letter or social letter that would confirm it, I do have a previous housing association form that would back this up but just wondering if this is enough evidence, very stuck on what to apply as, I have only lived alone for 2 years so can’t apply for the 3 year independent student option - Thanks 🤔

In this case we can ask you to complete something called an Estrangement Declaration Form. If you apply and indicate that you're estranged we can send this to you by e-mail.
Does your course begin this year, in September or later?

It would begin November this year, I have had a look at the forms just confused at the part that says proof is required as I’m not too sure how to prove this, thank you 😊
