Student Finance for 2nd health care degree

Hello,
I have a place for mental health nursing starting next month. I have been advised to complete a paper application as I only finished my previous degree in 2024 and the online application only starts at 25/26. I have sent this off with information regarding my partners details. I am just confused about the status of independent student and what information I will need to provide to say I've supported myself over 3 years. I'm trying to pre empt it so I can have the information ready to upload once my application is loaded onto the system. This is due to my course starting in around 3 weeks time.

Thanks, since you're over 25 you don't need to prove that you're independent, don't worry.
We only need your partner's details, and it sounds like you've included these already. This is all we need to award you the correct funding.

Hi thanks for your reply. I think I may have filled the form in incorrectly then as I've given information regarding how I have supported myself over the past 3 years. At least they'll have it if they need it!
