No providing University Application Feedback

Hello,
I’m a year 13 student who applied for university this year, one of those universities rejected me, they said in the email they don't provide any feedback, my friends still told me to email them and ask them for feedback, so I did that, they still told me they could give me feedback.

I have no choice but to accept it at this point right? Or is there anything else I can do. I don't want to seem rude but i also would like constructive criticism. Any advice is appreciated thank you

They seem to be making it pretty clear they don't give feedback on applications unfortunately.

It's obv something a lot of applicants would like but you need to understand that when a uni/company etc has decided not to take you on that further use of resources or staff time becomes hard to justify, especially when education is facing various financial challenges and lots of staffs workloads are already crazy. Many employers are the same now too, they'll have some little blurb about 'we only contact successful candidates' etc

I understand, it’s annoying I can not lie but I’ll just have to accept it.
Thank you for the explanation , have a wonderful day
