does anyone else go to a school where they don’t feel seen?

Ok so it might be a good school but you don’t feel like your academic efforts are appreciated by the teachers. You don’t feel like they care about helping you or that you can even talk to them about any schoolwork that you’re struggling with. You hate some teachers’ teaching methods because of one reason or another. In fact, you feel like some of them don’t even want to teach one tiny bit. And yet because it’s year 12 sixth form you can’t move away to another school, can’t do anything about it.

Does anyone else feel the same, even if you’re not in sixth form? Please there’s gotta be at least one person. I don’t mean to sound dramatic but I feel like I’m fighting a lonely battle here.

Please keep your responses respectful and kind everyone

(I’m not expecting an awful lot of responses for this post btw so massive gratitude to anyone who decides to reply)

Felt like I was treated well by teachers in school, it doesn’t mean the school was good though (the first secondary school wasn’t).

I feel this but only with my chemistry teachers really, everyone else in my lesson but me and my friends are like really really smart and it feels like my teachers are just constantly rushing through everything and not double checking if anyone is struggling to understand properly. Just in general they teach it like everyone knows what’s happening and it just stresses me out
