Most MEng courses allow students to transfer onto a BEng (and vice versa) if they do so within 2 years (often universities will require students to be on track for a 2.1 or higher to stay on the MEng pathway), after second year there is typically some diversions between the BEng & MEng courses. You can check with Bristol on their policy.

If you opt for the BEng you would then be able to apply to do MSc engineering degrees however this would likely be a little bit different to the final year of the MEng as postgraduate masters are typically 180 credits and have a larger research element then the final year of an integrated masters which is typically 120 credits. So you have to choose between, MEng or BEng + MSc (there are some financial factors to consider with doing a postgraduate masters versus an undergraduate integrated masters so in general I would recommend doing the MEng unless you are looking to change your field , change university , develop specialist skills or research experience in which case the MSc might be better.
