Question about withdrawing and coming back to uni

I’m considering withdrawing from my course after completing Year 1 but would potentially like to return later and continue from Year 2. Is this an option, and if so, what would the process and requirements be for rejoining at a later date?
Additionally, I’d like to understand the Student Finance implications. I’m a home student currently receiving Student Finance, and I previously completed a year of university on a different course, finishing with a CertHE qualification. How would this affect my future funding if I were to withdraw and later return?
