university course

Hi,

Do you think doing a joint degree is worth it an example being neuroscience with psychology instead of just neuroscience.
Like would you still get the same work out of it and would it lead to the same jobs available.

Pros and Cons :

You get to study two slightly different but related subjects and see the academic connections between the two. This sort of 'wider knowledge' is valued by employers.

But, you need to check that any Psych joint subject degree is still accredited by BPS to be certain that you could pursue a career in Psychology on graduation - BPS > Accredited Courses

Any joint subject degree involves some compromises as you wont be able to do all the course units in either subject because of timetable etc clashes.

Go to Uni Open Days, listen to the subject presentations for both subjects and ask questions.
Also talk to current students to see how the joint subject program works for them.
