How to deal with exams whilst on your period?

I am not sure if I am in the wrong form for this. For context I am doing GCSEs May-June and I am quiet worried about dealing with my period during this time as mine are quiet painful (sometimes throwing up and physically not being able to move due to pain) and I usually can never concentrate when it's my first day. I am prescribed medication but it usually takes 2-3hr to have full effects.
I am quiet worried on how much this will effect me during exam season, usually when I do tests on the first few days of my period I do badly, does anyone have any tips to stay well and manage my period during exams?

I throw up a lot on my period as well, I usually take paracetamol and ibuprofen and it helps ease the pain a little (but like you said it takes a few hrs to have effect). Hopefully you don't have an exam on the 1st day of your period :frown:

Maybe try taking medication without waiting for symptoms to start? Like if you know you usually get pain on the first few days, just take your meds as soon as you wake up even if you are not sore yet, and then just keep taking regularly throughout the day as frequently as you are allowed.
