Busy pub day tomorrow

Hi guys I work as I kitchen porter at my local village. So there are about 90 people attending there and I haven't worked on a Sunday for a while.

I have worked plenty of Sundays ls before but I always work hard and do my best to not **** up it's always guaranteed. Any advice for fellow kitchen porters for some tips?

I have 4 years of experience but there this manger there that keeps interrupting my work station to wash is own things I need to stop him doing as its going to slow me down.

And I just want have a go at him but rather tell hkm if he just has stuff to wash give it to me and I will wash it.

When you first get to work tomorrow, politely and respectfully mention to him that it is easier for you to manage your workload and keep things running efficiently, if he either leaves his stuff for washing for you to do when you have time, or he does it at the end of your shift. Then ask if that’s ok?! Keep it casual, so show no sign of impatience or annoyance! The worst he will do is say no, it’s incredibly important that he washes his stuff himself at his own convenience!
