Hi!! I don't know if I would be a good help bc I am in year 12, but if it helps you...
I would recommend doing a lot of practice, for instance: past papers (edexcel, AQA or OCR), tests by each topic… but before that, be sure you know the theory part (take some notes, just for remembering how to do it later) and then do a lot, A LOT of practice.
Ask your teachers if you have any doubt PLEASE!!!

If you're in Year 13 then you probably should be going through the exam with your teacher(s) to see where your weaknesses are. Can you see where you lost marks in the exam? Do you have problems with a particular area of the curriculum (pure / mech / stats), or a particular topic (trig, algebra, calculus)?

Does the 'D' correspond to your current standard in class work, or do you have problems with the exam environment even when you (think you) know the material?

Ok, thank you! I'll take it up with my teacher on topics I don't understand as well- integration.

In class, im at a B/C, it's only in exams where I don't do as well, even when I think ik the material, and that has been a struggle for me since Y12, despite talking to my teacher.

Im currently in year 12 and i jumped from a D to a B in from september - march by doing practice questions and past paper questions. You can go to https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/ or https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/ as they have very good practice questions in exam question format etc. I think also going back over questions you got wrong in previous tests also helps!! Also I found that it was the exam environment that made me forget a few things, because for homework etc i was so used to quickly looking back at my notes if i was unsure. try practice exam questions and exams in silence, timed conditions with no notes as this might help.
