Transferring Universities After Personal Loss

I'm currently in my second semester of my first year studying LLB Law at Glasgow Caledonian University. Recently (two weeks ago), my mother passed away unexpectedly. It has been an incredibly challenging time for me, and l've been struggling to keep up with my coursework.

Before she passed, I expressed to my mum how much I disliked my university and wished I had gone to the University of Glasgow, as I had gotten an offer to study English Literature there but had changed my mind over the summer and wanted to do Law instead.
However, I ended up at GCU through clearing as it was the only option available at the time. Now, I'm feeling lost and unsure about my future, especially given everything that's happened.

My dad has been supportive and has encouraged me to do what I feel is right. I've been considering switching to the University of Glasgow to start fresh, but I'm unsure if it's even possible at this point. Should I consider taking the LNAT again, even though l've already completed part of a law course?

Any advice or insights from those who have gone through something similar or have experience with university transfers would be greatly appreciated.

Just realised I had said “should I consider taking the LNAT again” I haven’t sat the LNAT before, meant to say should I consider taking the LNAT
