How many hours of revision do I need to do weekly or monthly to get an A/A* ?

4 A levels, Maths, FM, Physics and Econ and I have no idea how many hours I should hit or anything

There's no magic number as all depends on your learning style, experience, and ability, and how much time you have when not attending classes. Try to follow a plan. Set goals within the plan. Treat most free periods at school as revision slots. Include rest and recreation in the plan. Reward yourself for achieving goals. Work for an hour or two, take a short break, then work again.

Good luck!

Hey @ioiuihihjhiygd,

I definitely agree with Stiffy Byng: there's no set amount of revision you can do to achieve an A/A*. Some students might only need to revise for an hour every night to achieve those grades; others might need two or three, depending on how quickly they can learn and understand the content.

Try to figure how much time you can realistically spend revising in a week - do you have a couple of hours free every evening, or do you have sports/hobbies/other commitments that revision will need to be scheduled around? The most important thing here is to make an active effort to revise when you can and to make the most of your time in school, whether that's revising during free periods or paying close attention in class.

Hope this was helpful and best of luck,
Eve (Kingston Rep).

I’m doing the same A-levels as you except geo instead of econ, I think you should make sure to split ur time accordingly across the subjects cuz some are harder to get As in or take more time. Good luck.
