Hi Ben,
Don't be put off because you are a mature student, we have loads of mature students attend The University of Sheffield and yes there is a mature student society, alongside lots of other societies where you will find a rang of individuals attend, of differing ages. There are also mature student committee group chats and Facebook pages, which you can join prior to September, to get speaking to new people who will also be attending the university.

Hiya,
I believe Olivia may have referring to our part-time officer who represents mature students at our SU and runs sessions for mature students to meet up and have some form of social together.
