Student Finance - SAAS to SFE

I missed out on a course 2 years ago because my student finance seems to only offer me Scottish student finance (I left Scotland in 2008 and i am English). The numerous advisors I spoke to at the time all said they fixed it but never did- I went to apply the other day thinking it’s been over 2 years it should have been fixed by now but no it’s still showing “as you live in Scotland you can only apply for SAAS” how likely will it be student finance will fix this in time? I’ve seen a lot of complaints regarding student finance I’m worried I will miss out yet another opportunity.

You would need to post a paper application if you have entered that you have lived in Scotland or have a Scottish address. The assessors would then need to manually update this so that you can apply through SFE.

I’ve sent a paper application through post but typically I got a rejection from the choice of Uni I put on the form so now I need to change the choice I’ve opted for 🙈
