Leicester or Aston for psych?

I applied for aston and Leicester Uni for a 4 year psychology course (placement year included) I just don’t know which one to go to.

I’d be living with my sister in brum, so accommodation isn’t something i’m worrying about. If i went to do leicester I’d do the commute, it’s only just about an hour.

I visited the open days for both and I still can’t make my mind up. Some pros and cons would be helpful!

Compare the modules and optional modules in detail and think about which you would choose. This might help you to decide.

Then think about how involved you want to be in university life. Will a commute stop you from joining societies, etc?
Hey there 😃

Since securing a placement year can be super competitive, it's worth looking into the career support offered by these universities. The stronger the support, the better your chances of creating a stand-out application and landing a great placement! 🔥

But that’s not all! Universities with top-tier career services provide so much more than just placement opportunities. You’ll gain access to internships, training programmess, career workshops, and exclusive job opportunities - all of which give you a huge advantage when it’s time to land a full-time job after graduation 🎯

So, if career growth is important to you, make sure to research what each university offers. It could be a total game-changer for your future 🚀

I hope it will be helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,
