Has anyone got the acceptance letter for ESRC (NWSSDTP) funding? On my uni website, it says they expect to communicate the outcome to 2025 applicants no later than 20 March 2025. I got only one email, saying my application is being processed. Can't wait.

Hi! I haven’t received anything from them. Did youapply to Manchester? And when did you receive thatit is being processed?On the website of the scholarship it says that theallocation committee will meet on 21st of March, so Idon’t see how they can communicate decisions onthe 20th.

Yes, I applied to UoM. I received this letter in the beginning of February, saying to consider this email as a 'safe receipt of your application for funding and confirmation of processing'. On the timetable which is also published on the scholarship website, it says that 20 March is the day of the Allocation committee meeting (Pathway leads attend). So probably tomorrow we'll get emails. What uni did you apply?

I have also applied to UoM. In the student guidance of the scholarship it says that the allocation committee will meet on the 21st and they send out the results by the 28th. So, I don’t know whether we will receive the results tomorrow. But I do know that people who didn’t get to the allocation committee stage have already received their messages.

Hey, I havent applied for NWSSDTP but I did apply for SEDarc (South East DTP under ESRC). SEDarc sent me an informal offer via email yesterday, with my supervisor and the studentship manager from my uni CC'ed in. Official decisions should have been out on 26th March so i was quite surprised! I accepted the studentship offer and they said they'll issue an official letter with T&C on 10th April. I hope this is helpful. Good luck fingers crossed for you :smile:

Yeah, I got rejected before the allocation committee stage but they used the Manchester email to tell me that, even though I specifically asked them in my application to communicate via my personal email.

So it is a bit upsetting!
