University course

I am currently a law student at Warwick and not really enjoying it, I got into it because of my dad and I’m having second thoughts on if I should stay. I am more of a numbers person and I am think in that accounting and finance will be a better fit for me. I am worried that if I switch I’ll be restricting myself because law is very broad and I also feel bad for the money already spent on 1st and 2nd term that would be wasted. I am not sure what to do. Any advice would be amazing!!!

It will extremely difficult to go on a subject you've lost passion. Uni education is not vocational training, it prepares you for everything you will encounter in your life. One of the greatest PM, Mrs Thatcher read Chemistry in uni. So don't let your education restricts your future.

The time and money you spent in the year is not "wasted". It is the cost for voyage to uncover your lost aspiration and passion, the gain certainly outweighs the cost.

I agree with everything there except "one of the greatest PMs". Thatcher was a disaster for the UK, and many of the current ills of the country are attributable to her policies and beliefs.
