Foundation Year Personal Statement for Bristol

The application deadline for UoB’s foundation year in Humanities is tonight at 23:59.

Should my personal statement include why I want to study Literature with a year abroad or focus more on the actual foundation year? I wrote a PS that got me offers at York, Durham, Manchester etc but that was specifically for an English BA

Bristol was my top choice though, and I’m willing to do a foundation year to get me there (I was rejected due to my course not offering enough literature credits)

Would be grateful for any help

Why you apply for foundation year? It is the intermediate step to the undergraduate course, you are not expected to "stop" there. So naturally your personal statement should cover your desired destination and why.

My PS showcases my passion for literature, achievements in creative writing, why I want to study the degree and how it will set the foundations for a career as an English teacher
