Student Finance - Question

Hi everyone,
I tried applying for student finance about 3 days ago, however my parents never got an email to provide info for house income so i decided to go check what’s going on with my application, only to find out it says it’s incomplete?!?

As i am not a UK national, i have lived in england for 6 years i just dont have a passport yet only a settled status, the application said that they have sent my identity evidence for check and will contact me if anything else is needed. They haven’t contacted me but also they haven’t marked it as complete so could they still be checking my identity for 3days now? It is the only thing thats stopping me from submitting my application and my parents getting an email so i am just wondering wether anyone else has had a similar issue?

It sounds like you should be eligible however, we are currently experiencing a technical that is affecting some students and sponsor accounts.

We’re working to resolve the ongoing issues as a priority and an update will be provided here when the issues have been resolved.

Hey, so i applied for student finance 2 weeks ago but i have only now made my firm choice for uni and its different to the one i put in the application. I know how to change it but would that take my application back to the beginning for the people assessing it? As it says it might take an additional 6 weeks if i make this change?

Hi there,

You won't need to re-do the application, don't worry. Feel free to update your course details online whenever you can: you have plenty of time to get the application approved again.

It says i need to send paper documents and i cant just go back and change the course details?

Is it the Change of Circumstances (CO1) form that you're being asked to complete?

If so, you can upload it on your account and we'll update your application that way: it doesn't need to be posted, rest assured.

Should i keep waiting or is there anything i can do to check if everything has gone through and is actually being processed? It's definitely worth us checking your account to make sure everything's okay.
