I would recommend The Explorer by Katherine Rundell, and her other books. I would also recommend the Ice Mark chronicles, starting with The Cry of the Icemark. I LOvE LOvE LOVE the Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, theyre so perfect. Moving up age wise a little from them is the Dusk Gate Chronicles by Breeana Puttroff, although they might not actually be good books, I just have an emotional attachment to them. 100% everyone should read The Girl Who Speaks Bear and The House With Chicken Legs (especially the latter) by Sophie Anderson. Theyre so beautiful and emotional. I would also recommend Kiss the Dust by Elizabeth
Laird. The Various, Celandine, and Winter Wood by Steve Augarde are also good. There’s so many more! Ive read a lot of good books in my life. These aren’t really newly published books, but some might be a little less well known and deserve to be discovered

There are so many wonderful children's books that can spark imagination and creativity. Some of my personal favorites are:

1.

"Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak A beautifully imaginative story that takes kids on an emotional adventure.

2.

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle A classic with fun illustrations that teach counting and transformation.

3.

"Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown A soothing bedtime story that's perfect for winding down.

4.

"The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson A fun, rhyming story with a clever twist kids love.

5.

"The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss Whimsical and full of energy, this one keeps kids engaged.

These books are great for young readers and offer both fun and life lessons. If you’re looking for more riddles or brain teasers, you might also enjoy checking out Riddles for kids for a fun mental workout!
