english lit essay writing advice

i’m in year 13 with just 60 days till my first english exam. i do the aqa english lit b specification. i’ve been predicted an A, however i’ve been stuck in low band 4 for most of this year and it feels like my essays aren’t improving at all. any tips or revision strategies to improve my marks?

hey lovely i’m in the same boat doing a level english lit aqa too but i do a not b, i doubt they’re that different. for me my advice would be to balance your AO2 between language structure and form and smoothly embed your AO3 context and AO5 lit crit. sometimes writing loads has acc held me back (idk how much you write) bc it can dilute your points, continue an analytical focus throughout. if you’re struggling for lit crit just use a feminist perspective. do you know what you specifically find the hardest?
