im really scared about applying for cambridge maths-
i got 9999999999 at gcse with an A in additional maths, but have no super curriculars except a book and the ukmt challenges and tutoring at a company and am not eligible for any programmes because I don’t go to a state school and idk how im going to get a 1,1 in step pls can someone give advice LOL

There are some suggested supercurriculars at
https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/super-curricular_suggestions.pdf
https://www.st-annes.ox.ac.uk/study-here/undergraduate/outreach/students/super-curriculars-and-resources/
and you dont have to have a perfect personal statement, but show some enthusiasm. Tutoring at a company probably wont add much, but there are plenty of suggestions in the previous two lists.

Id probably put some effort into
1) supercurriculars for your personal statement
2) harder elementary / as maths for the interview
3) step practice
The latter two are generally more important and there are things like the step foundation programme, oxford livestream/maths club, .... which can help with the latter two. But if youre serious about applying, start doing some stuff in the near future.

thanks! i worked through the foundation modules last summer and am currently onto step 2 questions and can solve some of them in around 30 mins- guess I just need to ramp up the supercurriculars

If youre in y12 and solving step 2 stuff now, youre obviously in a good position. Bowlers booklet is decent for inteview practice, but there are some course/college stats at
https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/apply/statistics
and maybe 2/3 of applicants get interviews and maybe 1/2 of those get step offer and 1/2 achieve it, so doing some harder maths (interview/test and step exam) is more important that stacking up supercurriculars.
