Why you should choose University of Staffordshire

Hi, I’m Kurtis and I’m a 2nd year Esports student at University of Staffordshire. I’m here to tell you why you should study here (basically why i chose it myself).

Firstly, the course delivered what I wanted which was a degree focussed on gaining experience alongside the qualification, it really helps with getting the skills needed and looks a lot better to employers (literally already had great jobs bc of it). You put effort into your course and trust me the effort comes back!

I’m from a proper small town so I wanted something that had more of a city vibe but still had the nature that I was used too and wow that’s exactly what the area around University of Staffordshire is like so perfect!

I travel a lot around the UK so the central positioning and closeness to the train station is super helpful and allows me to adventure.

It’s also a pretty cheap place to live, I see people paying a few hundred pounds a week for their accommodation when I pay like £80 a week for the same thing, lovely.

Finally, the university itself is very homely. It’s quite small so you get to know many people and see them regularly, so it reminds me of a cute little village so that’s a familiar and welcoming feeling.
