Learn Direct content issues (access to HE)

I am completing a humanities access to HE course via learn direct, with university offers for September. I am currently studying a criminology unit - however I had no access to the study materials (the lessons) for around a month, as they were 'updating' the content, and was told by my tutor to just complete other assignments as I wait.
Now that the content is available for viewing again, it is the complete wrong content? my assignment brief is entered around gender and socio-economic status in relation to criminology, but all of my lessons talk purely about cybercrime and organised crime, with no mention at all of the above subjects? I have emailed them multiple times but nothing has come of it.
I am beginning to get really anxious as I have high grade boundaries to meet for my university offers and am afraid that if I attempt this assignment with my own research alone, without the foundation of knowledge given to me by learn direct that ill get a bad grade and jeopardise my university place.
has anyone else had the same experience or have any advice on what to do? no amount of complaint emails seem to be helping and it is beginning to really get to me:/ thanks!!<3
