Things to do in Kingston this Spring

What is your favourite season?
Any plans for the spring easter holidays?

If you are a nature lover like me, spring is one of my favourite seasons especially in Kingston! With only just a 20-30 min bus ride from the Kingston town centre to beautiful green spaces like Petersham Nursery, Isabella Plantation, Hampton court, Kew Gardens and Bushy park, Kingston is one of the best places to experience the full bloom of Spring. Given the coming exam season, why not take the time to unwind and take a walk among the gifts of spring
Here are a few ideas to unwind and make the best of your spring vacation before the coming exam season.

See the Flowers :blow:
My all time favourite day trip every spring is to visit Isabella Plantation within Richmond Park! Mid to late April is one of the best times to visit the blooming woodland garden. With vibrant azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias, Isabella Plantation in spring feels like a paradise exploding with colour from every angel. If you’re lucky you may be able to catch some colourful mandarin ducks too! Do remember to take some hayfever tablets along if pollen doesn't agree with you.
Some other of my favourite places to visit is Kew Gardens with its bursting cherry blossoms and magnolias, and Petersham Nursery with its trailing grape vines and wisterias!

Try out a new sport with KU Extra :bumps:
Ever wanted to try a new sport but it was never the right time? This spring why not check out KU Extra for a wide variety of different sport activities and social events happening across the campus and the Kingston town area! From swimming, tennis, squash, to dance classes, ⚽️ KU Extra has you covered this spring for a myriad of different social and sport activities

How do you usually spend you spring vacation?
If you know of any other amazing places to visit this spring, feel free to drop them down in the comments below and share your thoughts!
