Chicken can be bad for you if it’s not cooked properly or if you’re allergic to it.
Food poisoning danger

Food poisoning from bacteria such as salmonella Salmonella , campylobacter Campylobacter, clostridium perfringens Clostridium perfringens and Escherichia coli Escherichia coli can result from eating raw or undercooked chicken.
Symptoms can begin between a few hours and a week after eating the chicken.
You may experience nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fever and/or stomach cramps.
Allergy risk

Others may be allergic to chicken or what it is produced from.
Allergic reactions can range from mild to very severe, and you may need to go to the doctor immediately.
As for the chicken, I would not worry. I worked some years in the oil and gas industry in the UAE, where I consumed tons of chicken cooked Indian, Lebanese and local style. The Gulf area is very modern - I was to all areas. But before deciding where to eat, look around carefully before ordering, especially if it is a cheap place, compulsory if it is chicken.
I suggest trying the khouzi instead of chicken. It is a celebratory dish of lamb stuffed with rice, eggs, onion, fruit and nuts... and other things I don't remember.

Kind regards from Italy,
