BA Illustration, BA Illustration with Animation: Falmouth, MMU or CovUni?
- MMU: I visited for the Creative digital design apprenticeship on open day
- the SODA building was well equipped
- didn’t get the chance to view the BA Illustration with Animation course at the time
- apprehensive about choices after seeing recent student reviews about lack of teaching
- received conditional offer
- Falmouth: visited and found that the quality of facilities matched their high reputation
- they have alumni in big roles like No Time to Die and the new Barbie movie
- was slightly shocked to find that they didn’t have digital suites with drawing tablets but they allow students to bring their own (not that bad)
- the area is beautiful and locals are extremely welcoming
- portfolio interview went well, waiting for response
- however, accommodation and cost of living is high there
- I am allergic to all fish and must eat halal but https://www.cornwallislamiccentre.org/ has all the info for that
- CovUni: is local
- gave unconditional offer after portfolio interview

- the lecturer debriefing the course was really engaging
