LSE or Durham

Bsc Management at LSE or Bsc Economics at Durham?

1. Which is better for a healthcare economics masters given that the management degree at LSE is still highly quantitative and heavily economics based.
2. Which will open more doors?
3. Is it clear that LSE would be the better choice or are they similar in prestigious?

Thank you for this. This is what I think.
I’m kind of intesrtes in the financial side of Biotech/healthcare innovation.
Would management better suit this at LSE if I then wanted to pivot into this area with a bank

Ah i understand, i don’t think the degree will matter much. i would say its more accessible with lse assuming you take full advantage of the opportunities in london during your studies

I would say that LSE is much more prestigious than Durham. You wouldn't select Georgetown instead of Harvard, so why would someone select Durham over LSE? Durham is another Georgetown, a third tier university with virtually no international reputation. LSE is able to mix it with the greatest US universities, a truly global brand.

Yes, i agree. However, what university you go to doesn't dictate what career you get

It can in some fields, like becoming PM, or getting a job in global investment banks, or even in international relations and diplomat roles.
