How would u recommend revising the modern texts ( the plays like Inspector Calls or Leave Taking) AQA? Because we don't even get an extract.

Hi!! In the November mocks i got a 3 but in my march mocks I’ve jumped to a 5 😤😛
I was able to jump 2 grades because i looked at ways i should structure my stuff in lit. And i did practice questions (most js for like the q1/q2 for inspector calls on p2)
So idk how i should study even more. Hoping u can give tips!!

do you have any advice for structuring essays? we are given a structure at school (what, where, how, why) but every model answer I've seen doesn't follow that structure and I feel like its more for students aiming for like 4-5, when I want a 9. also do you have any tips for Macbeth if you did it - I'm so confused with writing about it? tyy

It’s usually
Point- e.g character is presented as….through the use of…. (Or you can embed the quote)
Evidence “quotation”
Explanation/analysis
Link back to the question

thank you I will try this! do you write an into/thesis statement and conclusion? my English teacher told us not to bother with a thesis statement and hasn't mentioned conclusions but lots of sample answers I've seen have them. if so how would you structure these?
