Year 12 Summer School dilemma

I could apply for the residential at bath because I'm in the pathways to bath programme or I could go to the one in Birmingham and get a guaranteed interview and a reduced offer - for bath I get a guaranteed contextual offer anyways but they're on the same days and I don't know which one to sign up for. Also what happens at summer schools is it like a school environment or more of a summer camp one lmk. And if anyone has been to one or the other please let me know if they are nice or not.

What would you gain by attending the summer school at Bath, given that you "get a guaranteed contextual offer anyways". If the answer is "nothing" then attending the Birmingham one to "get a guaranteed interview and a reduced offer" would seem to make sense.

Its an intro to 'what its like being at Uni', or as much of that is possible in a week and on an mostly-empty-for-summer campus. So - some academic stuff, some intro to Uni life, and some socialising to get you used to making friends, and to increase you 'I can do this' confidence.

Bath is a small concrete campus on a hill above Bath, which also isnt that big. Great place for arty-stuff, niche restaurants, and middle-class shopping, but not that exciting. Brum is a much bigger campus and some of the original buildings are beautiful - and obviously its a much bigger, more diverse, city.
