contextual offer due to death

My grandad is in the hospital right now, and it's being said that he may not live for much longer. If he were to die in the next couple of weeks, would that be considered as affecting my a level results, and would I therefore get a reduced offer? He lives in India, but we were very close, and I would visit him every year in the summer.
Contextual offers are based on other information. What you are talking about is mitigating/extenuating circumstances. These don’t usually reduce your offer conditions.

Have you let your exam centre know? They can apply for extenuating circumstances to the exam boards which will adjust your grades. They can also write to your universities - check on their website on how to notify them of extenuating circumstances. Some universities have forms that need to be completed by your exam centre.
