do any of u know of lawyers who have meetings with clients late in the evening e.g. 9pm?!
is this usual?

depends - is this lawyer particularly successful - would you expect that he/she is so busy that he/she is likely to have a dinner appointment with an important client - if so and he/she is a high powered type then it is perfectly normal in the cut and thrust of today's legal environment

lol, no i'm not suspecting of any affairs. was just curious. just wondering if it was an excuse. yeah she's a busy lawyer and successful but i just think its strange......how long do these meetings go on for?!
not so fun contemplating being a lawyer then, lol.

it's nothing interesting. just that my friends a lawyer and seems to have these meetings quite often and till late at nite (midnight) and i was considering going in2 this field and just wanted 2 clarify my ignorance! i was wondering if she's using it as an excuse to get out of things thats all.

Depends on what sort of clients the solicitor is meeting.

My mum does Porperty law, she usually doesnt.

My boss (solicitor) went up to Blackburn (from Portsmouth!) by car, for a 7pm appointment (not getting back till way past midnight!) just because a client was on holiday and still wanted a conference! :confused: Oh, well...
