Hi, Does everyone know about the clarification regarding converting BTEC International Level 3 Creative Media qualifications into UCAS tariff points. As I am currently assessing my qualifications to meet the entry requirements for my desired course.
Thanks

The first thing you need to do is to establish exactly which of the following qualifications you're referring to:
Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Creative Media
Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Creative Media
Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media
Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media

You can then look-up how many UCAS points it's worth (which will depend on the grade) via this page on the UCAS web site.

Note that the International BTECs are listed, but earn the same UCAS points as the National versions. So if your qualification is a "Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media" then you'd look-up the points for "Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)".

Edited to add a link to this PDF which shows the equivalence between the International and National BTECs, and that "International Subsidiary Diploma" maps to "National Extended Certificate".

Sorry for the unclear message. I am doing the Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Creative Media.

OK. As I mentioned above, and provided a link to a PDF for verification, the "Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma" maps to "National BTEC (RQF) Extended Certificate".

So you should select "Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate" from the UCAS Tariff Points Calculator, enter you grade, and it'll provide the UCAS Tariff Points that earns.
