London Met University- course change before starting

I have applied to london met uni for Fine Art with foundation year and have received a conditional offer. However, I have started to become very interested in interior design and would possibly want to change the course I applied to. Is it possible to change my course without having to go through clearing? Or should I accept my offer and take on fine art and change it during the first week, as I have heard many people change their course in the beginning? Also would i need to make a new personal statement and provide my portfolio and have to do an interview again?

Yes, it's possible. Simply contact the admissions team and make the request. There's a chance that they'll say "no" (because the course you want to move to is already full, or for some similar reason), but asking won't jeopardise your existing offer.

It's always better to start the course you want to do, rather than start a course you no longer want to do hoping that you'll be able to switch - because it isn't always possible. So contact them today. Well, once you've decided for sure that you do want to switch.
Hi, we hope you're doing well! 🙂

If you’re holding a conditional or unconditional offer at London Met and would like to change to a different course, we’ll do our best to accommodate you and we advise you do this as soon as possible, rather than waiting until the first week of your studies. Please be aware that the conditions of your offer may change and you may be required to submit a new portfolio, personal statement and interview if your current ones are not relevant to the new course.

Please reach out to our Admissions Team via the form so we can best support you with this. We're looking forward to you joining us soon! 🎉
