Can I attend a Teachers training course on PSW visa to achieve QTS ?

Hi,

I am a postgraduate in Mathematics and am currently on a Post-Study Work (PSW) visa in the UK. I’m considering switching careers to teaching, but I do not hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or any other teaching qualifications at the moment.

I’d like to know if I am legally allowed to attend a teacher training course during my PSW period to work towards achieving QTS.

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
