I need ANY help I can get, does anyone who may have done theirs or may have anyknowledge on me please tell me what questions cameout the most? In biology and chemistry I mean.

What do you mean by summative assessments? Do you mean mocks?

Different schools will do mocks differently, it might even be that people in the same cohort for a single subject at a single school get different mocks or do them at different times. I would recommend asking your teachers for advice on what could come up, usually it would be on content that has been taught to you, but double check with teachers.

Someone on TSR could tell you “it was simply the 2024 paper” but then your school could be like mine (rather than lazily only using the 2024 paper) and mix questions from different papers or use things such as Examplo, OCR exam builder, Edexcel mock exam papers etc

thanks so much for replying. i think its a mix of questions as my chemistry teacher uses examplo to set questions

In that case that probably makes it even more unlikely to predict what will come up imo. I would ask your teachers what topics you need to focus on for your mocks,

Well done a B is a good grade in my opinion (especially for Y12).

Thanks so much 😊 I just got my predicted grades for year 12 and it’s ABB, Biology Chemistry and psychology. Got my official mock coming up on June, tips anyone?

I don’t these subjects (bar chem but my grade was mid). @always-anxious or @thrivingfrog might be able to give some advice.

Hi! I did bio and psychology and got A*s in both. This is applicable to both subjects but especially for bio, you wanna be smashing through past paper questions. Mark schemes can be super specific in biology so you wanna ensure you're hitting the key terms and points. For psychology it's super important to include context in your answers. By that, I mean link all your answers to the question when applicable (in scenario qs) because this is what gets your marks up. In terms of content I personally found seneca learning really helpful for both, and I made a lot of mind maps to help consolidate my knowledge for psychology

To build upon what thrivingfrog said, blurting is also useful for both psychology and biology (I study these two as well) . Here, you read notes/watch a video on a topic/whatever works for you, then hide your notes and write down everything you can remember, then re-read the notes and add anything you missed in another colour. This is really useful, especially for content heavy subjects, because it makes sure you're able to focus your revision on your weaker areas. Hope this helps
